The Tears of a Cuck

From: The Gotham Gazette: Manhattan GOP Goes Full Trump Ruining Chances for Years to Come, May 3, 2019

When I read what the Gotham Gazette was pleased to call an "opinion" piece I had assumed it was written by one of the usual effete Manhattan liberal progressives who happened to be a 14 year old mean girl in a full drama queen meltdown at mention of the bad Orange Man. All the usual juvenile hissy fit ad hominems, guilt by association and liberally peppered the dreaded 'alt-right' term. Because anyone who deviates from the righteous path of northeastern establishment liberalism must be the worst person in the universe.

 I could be forgiven for assuming the party affiliation, age and gender of the author as this emotional incontinence was presented in a style and with a facility of writing that strongly suggested an 8th grade reading level so typical of the breed. But wait! The author of this puerile diatribe is none other then John William Schiffbauer, political consultant, former Deputy Communications Director for the New York Republican State Committee from 2014 to 2016 and like totally awesome millennial wunderkinder!

With brains like this guiding the New York State Republican party it's no wonder the GOP lost control of the state Assembly and state Senate and hasn't held the Governor's office for over 12 years. The Democrats are now just 2 senate seats away from a 66% super majority and the party already has a  70% domination of the state assembly. A truly stunning track record of failure. Being spineless toadies to the progressive liberal religion has really been working out well for the GOP, hasn't it, John.

Oh, but what a respectable failure characters like John bring us by appealing to progressive liberals with a bold "me too, Orange Man bad" message. As if "hello fellow progressives" really would fool the prog NPCs any more than the "I'm kind of liberal too but I would manage big government costs better and give you a tax cut too" blather swayed white working class/middle class Democrats over to the GOP. Nor did the Bushs' open border/amnesty for illegals fantasy pull more than a few more percentage of the Hispanic vote to the Republicans but they remain in the large part loyal to the Democrats.

More failure theater typical of the Republicans playing the Washington Generals to the Democrat's Harlem Globetrotters and just as staged. But hey, a guy like John adds a new character to the Generals, that of the hipster who tries to look cool by yelling "Orange man Trump bad, nazis bad" while one of the Democrat Globetrotters yanks his shorts down. It's all a game of fake opposition.

No, being the lite beer version of the progressive leftist Democrat impresses nobody because it ultimately comes off as watery, colorless and flavorless. People prefer the real thing, not the pale imitation that just looks a pathetic scenester desperate to be noticed. Poseur cucks impress no one and the dead elephant in the room is there for all to see. And although the intended tone of article is one of supercilious contempt, it is too over the top with howls of "alt right bad" to be anything other than a cuck sniveling in terror that his progressive leftist overlords will be wroth at him and the GOPe for Reilly's heresy. Or one should ask John to show us where on the doll the Bad Orange Man and mean alt-righters touched him.

Seriously though, John, what is so wrong with making or keeping America great? Why do you hate your own country so much and feel so frightened and sad when someone says "make America great again?

But this is the problem with political consultants, this packaging candidates like Madison Avenue ad-men as if politicians were consumer goods with carefully crafted images based on focus groups and speeches tailored to specific audiences. The candidate is not being himself telling prospective voters what he really thinks and everyone can see how fraudulent and condescending this is.

It's therefore understandable why Ian Walsh Reilly supports President Trump in that it makes the New York Republicans stand for something, a real opposition to the Democrats in the very heart of the progressive stronghold of Manhattan. It is a bold move which could draw in other supporters because people are attracted to such boldness because it signifies strength. Assuming it isn't torpedoed by the GOPe and swamped under an army of "Orange Man bad" chanting SJW robots. This is occupied New York, after all and the Republican political consultants are loath to break this near perfect record of failure.

In case John and the other cucks are unfamiliar with the concept, this is called leadership. He may not win many hearts and minds in New York City but this should rally the Republican base who have been waiting for some sign of life in the GOP let alone leadership. It could have some benefit in the outer boroughs with those working and middle class Democrats dissatisfied with how far left NYC Democrats have gone and who have been abandoned by their party. If it increases Trump's numbers by only a few more percent, call it a win as the beginnings of a crack in the progressive dam because it is something that will trigger the progressives into overreacting and further alienating the working/middle class.

As the New York Republicans have long since been fading into oblivion as moderate worms, boldly supporting President Trump, becoming a real opposition to the far left Democrats, could be the change that saves the party from the abyss. Even if it doesn't change the party's fate, isn't it better to go down fighting than to crawl on your belly begging mercy of an opponent who will show you none but add humiliation to your destruction? Or maybe that's been the plan all along.

I'll leave with this quote from Theodore Roosevelt, a Republican and New Yorker who did believe in making America great. A man our boy John Schiffbauer and the present sad crop of New York Republicans can learn something from.
