The Moral and Intellectual Cowardice of Moderates and Liberals

Oh, Stephen, Stephen, to be at your Witt's end you would need to be more than a simple mid-wit which after sampling you columns, mid-wit may be a very generous compliment indeed.

First of all, to call Lincoln Restler an epic smooth brain moron would be grossly unfair and insulting to smooth brained morons everywhere. But surprisingly, to anyone who has the stomach to endure Restler's mind dwarfing verbal diarrhea and stoically endure the cacophony of brain cells screaming in agony as they die, they would be surprised to learn there are many more people more unspeakably vapid and more psychologically demented than Restler- his voters and the hybrid mutations of Transportation Alternatives.

Overall, this article simply highlights the fatuous posturing of moral superiority, of  taking the high road of "being above the fray" in pretending to take no sides all the while being sympathetic to the more radical leftist which illustrates why the moderate and liberal (1960's-70's mainstream variant) has failed. These sorts of weasels want to be seen as the good guys, the non-partisan, as if it would imbue them with some kind of magical intellectual and moral superiority. But in reality, they're sophists of the lowest order, desperate to be liked by both sides in a debate. Never once will a moderate or liberal put his foot down and say "this is right and that is wrong". Instead, this species of worm will answer the question of what do you think? with an "I think what you think but the other guy sorta has a point too". The last part of the other guy sorta has a point too is conditional on if the liberal or moderate thinks no one will so much as look at them with even a small trace of consternation for saying it.

That is, if the art of the possible is giving leftists only most of what they want for now and the rest of it later as the moderates and liberals that infest this city have proven wont to do over many years. If Rome wasn't built in a day, then this SDA wet dream of a mess made in this city took many years to get to- all with nice, well meaning, liberals and moderates finding this consensus and middle ground which always seemed to lurch slightly left. More important than asking what is possible is asking is this necessary or needed, should we do this and what are the consequences for doing so. And this is the reason why liberalism and moderation has failed in modern politics as they never ask those questions and offer nothing but banal platitudes that makes them useless at best. But when they either go along with the more radical leftist policies or refuse to oppose them with more than tepid objections, they become radical enablers and are worse than useless. Because of this, these are the people who are the most responsible for the asinine progressive leftist policies destroying New York offering only their incessant whining about the growing left-right political divide and all because they'd be mortified to really oppose or stop the Democratic Socialists of America or other leftists lest they be called racists or Trump supporters. In this, liberals and moderates sell out all the time.

They will inevitably damn the right with faint praise and make the mildest criticism against the left for which they will do so either with conditional weasel words or find a flimsy excuse for the damage the left has caused. But still trying to be that "I'm above it all" galaxy brain, Olympian cool poser with a pox on both your houses sneer which is their epic failure at trying to look intelligent and showing some backbone. Sometimes, even many times, there is a real good and bad/right and wrong/smart or stupid idea when we must have the courage to take that black and white response and get some idiot upset. This is where real courage, common sense and intelligence come in and a position in which liberals and moderates are never found.

Then too, the moderate or liberal when ever so gently criticizing the more radical left will offer some apology for that criticism or the sheepish "I kind of agree with the leftist but personally I'm not that radical and wouldn't go with that myself" all the while doing nothing to stop it. For no matter how "not that radical" the liberal and moderate may be, they never find the courage to actually oppose it with more than oleaginous milquetoast words.

In the end this is because, to paraphrase Wittaker Chambers that the liberal thinks the communist is really a rather noble fellow who deserves special consideration in a harsh and reactionary world. Then as the slimy poltroons pretending not to be the co-conspirator of the communists, moderates and liberals are worse than the most woke or SJW twats and so deserve the harshest condemnation and censure.

In regards to the Bike Karen bounty bill that greasy asshole Restler introduced, it died a well deserved death in the city council. Even that collection of leftist dementrons in the city council still had enough functioning cells in those neural junkyards that serve as their head filler to dimly realize just how idiotic that bill was. An accident in our favor for once.

Hostile Identity Politics and Advocating Scarcity: The Engine of the Progressive Left's Own Destruction

If one were to live in a steadfast denial of reality and think with a woefully short time preference, the most preposterous and fatuous ideas that appeal to one's vanity would be accepted as the work of genius without question. These fabulous ideas would then need to be implemented without delay as such individuals typically have some difficulty with delayed gratification. This succinctly describes the progressive emoter, the social justice warrior, the liberal "stuff white people like" types. In a few words, modern day pharisee.

To deny reality is to go to war with reality eventually to lose. This is common sense but there is always someone who thinks he can win this war. Just as there is always someone who believes that the laws of thermodynamics are nonsense and it is possible to build a perpetual motion free energy machine made from unobtainium. Of course, these are the supporters of the Green New Deal. This program is intended to make energy more scarce and more expensive in the hopes of collapsing industrial civilization and destroying capitalism which will of course, mean many millions of deaths. But hey: In the end the watermelons fervently believe they will create a low-tech socialist version of the Shire populated world wide by 500 million to 1 billion of elite leftist cloud people.

Well, in reality it's not likely most modern leftists bugmen will survive the collapse of modern civilization. They already have a hard enough time eking out their meager dysfunctional existence on a cornucopia of psych meds and have to tweet to each other looking for someone else to assault or murder a 16 year old high school kid. They can't even do their own dirty work and even the ones who try, just screw it up. What sort of survival skills including the will and ability to effectively use violence (at least in self-defense), some planning intelligence, physical and psychological strength does a SJW who advocates such a passive-aggressive method of genocide bring to the table? Others more violence prone and psychologically and physically tougher will see them simply as food animals.

Even the ruling class and elites can only survive as long as their cordons of armed men have a use for them and that won't be for long. The elite and especially the ruling class are people of empty words and meaningless gestures, not at all true people of action, so they will not survive in a Darwinian environment for long on their own.

Then there's identity politics. Really, how much more blatantly stupid can it be for white SJW/SWPL people to jump on the white nationalist is nazi, white people bad bandwagon. Do any of them really believe that their pretending to be oppressed by self-identifying as otherkin "people of color" a la Rachel Dolezal will fool people of color? Nope, you will be on the chopping block as well as the deplorables and no amount of virtue signalling or avowed hatred of your own people will save you. If modern industrial civilization crashes and there are no bugmen left alive to hear it, does it make a sound?

Besides, once the white daemon and his supernatural force of white privilege is vanquished, who among the various identity groups will rule as nobody wants to be second fiddle in the game of power. What will become of the almost rans? If history is any guide, then the answer is ethnic cleansing and that can become quite messy.

So a word of advice to lefties: Don't rock the boat with your fatuous environmentalism or stir up people against each other as it won't work out well for you if you succeed. If it were only you paying the price for your imbecility, I wouldn't care but your idiocy will adversely affect me and many other innocent bystanders. So as this advice is given in self-interest, it will benefit you too. And in any case, you'd better pray that modern civilization lasts longer than you do.

However, worse than the true believing fool is the cynic who uses the promise of a saccharine utopia, driven by weaponized sob stories as a vehicle to power and demonizes even the slightest opposition. This type of sociopath doesn't care who gets hurt in his quest for power, including his own SJW followers. The left has long loved the "provocation", intentionally starting a violent confrontation then when the target of attack fights back, lie down, cry and play the victim. Or the leadership plays the victim on behalf of whatever leftist follower was injured or killed. What good can be said of people who use their followers as expendable pawns with such depraved indifference? What sort of moron would willingly follow such people?

This brings us finally to "normalization", the process by which the aforementioned sociopathic revolutionary leader employs to put an end to the revolutionary phase and begin his reign. This means that his agitators, former street muscle and various other useful idiots are no longer necessary and will be liquidated. It's often been noted that the rank and file wannbe revolutionaries more often than not end up as the body in the ditch rather than the commissar. Just ask Ernst Rőhm.

So even if the left wins, it eventually loses.

Don't kid yourselves, Queens Chronicle editorial staff, there's no stopping leftists on a holy crusade

Where’s the beef? Gone.

"Oh, no! It appears conservative commentator Sebastian Gorka was right. Liberals really are coming to take away our hamburgers! The proof’s right here in New York City.

Gorka made the comments at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference. Environmentalists have long lamented the methane that cattle emit into the air, saying it contributes to global warming, and he was alluding to this line from the original FAQ sheet on the Green New Deal touted by our own Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: “We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast ...”

Now Mayor de Blasio is helping the cause, declaring “Meatless Monday” at all city schools. No beef, no chicken, no ham; it’ll be vegetarian food only once a week except for kids who bring in their own. It’s clearly a socialist plot to destroy America.

We kid. All jokes aside, we do hope Meatless Monday doesn’t get extended to other days. Children need their protein, and meat provides a lot of it. It’s one thing when kids want to go vegetarian — great! — but they shouldn’t be forced to. If we didn’t evolve to eat both plants and animals, we wouldn’t have canine teeth.

We bet that attack dog Gorka’s are extra sharp."

Meat is just one of those things that has made its way onto the left's list of devils and as such, a struggle is necessary to vanquish this evil. The official theology is that eating meat is not only wrong because....reasons... but that cows are causing global warming by farting the other sky dragon gas, methane and are responsible for the spread of racism, fascism and white Christian male patriarchy among other unspeakably naughty things. Can't you see? This must absolutely be stopped or the earth will explode in 12 years!

Just think about all those corporate factories where cows are manufactured by exploited slave labor under the watchful sneer of some evil avatar of Mr. Monopoly, who wickedly giggles at the thought of destroying the earth and poisoning everyone with meat eating. Hence, a program of small incremental compromises and minor changes takes place over time until the cow factories are finally closed down for good. Because, you know all the rest of us simply have no idea what is best for us and would probably all be dead inside of a week if it were not for the guidance of our "woke" demigod betters.

I'm exaggerating here, but only a little bit. These are the sort of people who are not into rational, logical thought, they're emoters on a mission, and as such they are inclined to believe with  religious-like fervor in what they're promulgating without considering whether it's based in reality or not. Even the term "woke" is used in a quasi-religious context much like being "born again" or in this case, it would beg the question if we have accepted the prophet Marx as our personal savior. Worse even is that these people will not go away and will not accept compromises in the long run any more than a Puritan would compromise with witches.

They'll start with wheedling for small compromises couched in weaponized sob stories, just a meatless Monday, and as they get this then more compromises, the wheedling will gradually fall away in the face of more strident demands and shrill threats. It will start with meatless Monday and won't end until all demon meat is banned from NYC public schools. You will obey us, the social justice warriors of the one true and inevitable political religion that shall usher in an equalitarian utopia. Resistance is futile!

The Queens Chronicle editorial board takes the usual moderate liberal attitude of being above the fray while portraying themselves as the voices of reason in the face of those silly conservative attack dogs. Liberals and moderates almost always dismiss anyone who warns of the seriousness of the left in aggressively pursuing their agenda in a most smug and supercilious way. Even the weak, watery criticisms of some factotum of Conservative Inc. (who couldn't even conserve the women's bathroom) elicits a superior chuckle of Olympian mirth from them. Talk about punching down.

 I have heard it said that to liberals, communists are really noble fellows who deserve special consideration in a harsh and reactionary world. So of course, the Queens Chronicle editorial board would say nothing too critical (except to Gorka) of leftists or meatless Monday otherwise they would lose their goodthinker street cred and be cast down from their Ivory Tower into the void. And that would be positively mortifying, daahlink!

This is just typical of the moral and intellectual cowardice of these moderate liberal worms, their posing as "above the fray/no labels" moderate intellectuals nothing more than a pitiful veneer, a desperate cover for the midwit poltroon cowering beneath. Such asinine creatures are utterly beneath contempt.

Cows and other methane farting bovines would exist naturally large herds whether people eat meat or not. That is unless vegans and environmentalists plan on a mass cow genocide program to follow. So how would vegetarianism reduce reduce bovine flatulence? The short answer is that it won't. This is nothing more than a political and social agenda being promoted under the camouflage of an alleged climate emergency. It's a solution in search of a problem.
