Since the 1930's, the ruling class here in the U.S., especially the old-money, northeastern establishment WASPs of New York, have been fascinated by Marxist Leninist totalitarianism. Although, at first they were horrified at the anarchist and communist bomb throwing and rioting antics as southern and eastern European immigrants used American society as a punching bag in their proxy war of revenge against the rulers of their home countries. It was the twisted emotional satisfaction of after being beaten up by a bigger kid, then going out and beating up another, smaller kid combined with a satanic preference for ruling in hell rather than serving in heaven. After all, the individual liberties and freedoms guaranteed by the constitution were easy for the Marxists to exploit.
Marxism was before the 1930's a dreadful anathema to this clique of staid, well-heeled blue blooded, heritage Americans who were accustomed to their inherited wealth and government positions. Although these elected and bureaucratic positions had limited powers, they were prestigious enough and provided a comfortable niche for the blue bloods. This all began to change in the aftermath of what historians are pleased to call "the gilded age", a sneering appellation to describe a time of unimaginable horror where any greasy prole with the intelligence, drive and determination could start up a business and become anything from moderately successful to a captain of industry. If not, then many other of the lower orders were becoming part of a burgeoning middle class whose children would have access to better education and themselves may join the nouveau riche. The unspeakable horror of the gilded age that would be later sold to the masses was that some proles got rich and worse, they flaunted their wealth! Honestly, is there no room for breeding and old world courtly manners? What if the bluebloods were driven to bankruptcy and even eventually pushed out of their government sinecures by those new hungry wolves! The real horror of the gilded age was for the old money WASP establishment that they would be toppled from their thrones by these new entrepreneurs.
Eventually, the blue bloods of the northeastern WASP establishment decided that the Soviet model of government with its top-down centrally managed and controlled economy with some modifications would offer the benefit of society under their control- including social mobility of who and how many get to rise up the social ranks. And under Franklin Delano Roosevelt's brain trust would offer academic design and control of the system so that means a scientific system which cannot fail. The problem with the Russian Soviets, in the new managerial planner's opinion, was that it was being run by a bunch of dumb Russian peasants, not by the super-smart elite cloud people of Harvard and Yale. Stalin and his men never even attended Dartmouth, for heaven sake! But in the hands of the right people...
In New York City of the 1930's where anarchists and communists were once despised, Democrat politicians were beginning to play footsie with communists and Marxists of every stripe. What better way to get the masses to support the party machine than to play the friend of the working man and promising to berate their bosses and make those evil rich people pay for the heinous crime of getting rich? Still, under no circumstances should the working man ever want to aspire to achieve more lest they become Satan incarnate by the evil and corrupting influence of even modest success. It is by far more moral and good to remain poor and oppressed. The lesson was victimhood is a blessed state to aspire to and achievement above one's station is evil and will be punished.
But there was something else the Democrat party machine learned from their communist buddies and that was using cultural Marxism to attack segments of the population and then divide and conquer the electorate. After 1965, this tactic was augmented by increasingly open immigration from all different cultures and ethnicities to a sanctuary city for illegal immigrants. The new immigrants legal and illegal were granted the holy sacrament of victimhood by virtue of coming from poorer countries which were oppressed by European and American colonialism. Then entire communities would never be able to unite to oppose the political and managerial establishment's schemes as each group would have its own unique interests, be assigned the status of angel victims (identity victim groups) or devil oppressors (the native New Yorkers) and they would have nothing more in common with each other than residing in the same geographical area. This was intended to ensure the electorate would be permanently divided and forever squabbling amongst themselves.
But our managerial overlords ever fearful of even an improbable servile insurrection can never stop finding new ways to further balkanize us and impose identity bean-counting in every corner of society. Immigration Laws in New York Nullified 2: It's almost official, Illegals may get to vote in our elections

Passes it again! And thank the Identity Marx god that they finally got it right, typos fixed and did it. It was a short article that didn't go into whether or not the State Assembly would pass it or if Our Most Dear Leader and Revered little tin god, Andrew Cuomo would sign it or not. Considering the State Assembly is about 70% Democrat factotums of the great progressive hivemind and Andy is a real nasty piece of work, it should be passed into law very soon.
Of course we don't want to publicize it too much and there had to be a bit of time separation between enacting the the law that allowed illegals to get NYS driver's licenses and the law that automatically registers them to vote so the peasant masses don't catch on. Yes the peasantry are a reliably servile lot and will slavishly parrot all the progressive liberal taking points their betters order them to assimilate. They have been obediently crawling off on their bellies to what outwardly appears to be democratic elections for generations, but are really a periodic affirmation of their loyalty to their masters yet still, one can never tell with the peasants.
Slavish devotion to the political ruling class, swallowing their lies and propaganda like so much kool aide can suddenly give way to angry mobs in yellow vests or waving umbrellas as they suddenly take offense at whatever the new law their masters enact to further debase the plebes. With such goings on in places like Paris, Santiago and Hong Kong, one should perhaps play it safe and keep this latest outrage against the very concept of U.S. citizenry and the ruling class using their tax paying chattel as human urinals on the down low.
Now why, one may ask, is it so vitally important, that our fantastic democracy and our very way of life are gravely imperiled should illegally undocumented immigrants (notice again the discipline I employ in not using the illegal term "illegal aliens") should be denied NYS driver's licenses and the franchise of the vote? Just as how it was absolutely paramount that the question of citizenship be left off the census. The answer is simple: To answer the latter first, New York state is losing people such that it may lose a congressional seat or two and the population count must be padded to the max or Sandy Ocasio Cortez might have to go back to being a barmaid.
Where would New York City be if the 14th congressional district that starts in the Bronx and includes the Whitestone Bridge to cross over into central and northwestern Queens, a prodigy, a masterpiece of gerrymandering, were to disappear? What would happen to the voting rights of anyone who happens to live on the Whitestone Bridge? Every vote matters and must be counted! Something had to be done and done it was! Illegals are counted in the census just as citizens.
To the matter of illegal aliens, sorry, our most wonderful undocumented immigrants who have nobly graced us with their presence and generously work such jobs for below minimum wage off the books (saves a bundle on payroll taxes to boot) that businesses refuse to pay Americans a fair wage to do should be welcomed with open arms. And all the yummy ethnic foods they bring that makes "foodies" and hipster bugmen squee with delight. And where would elite uber pimps like the late Jeffrey Epstein be without a fresh supply of nubile, young human sex toys for the pleasure of our ruling class and elites. Or low cost "comfort women" for hard-working proles. Human trafficking and prostitution jobs lazy American people simply won't do.
These undocumented comrades are the hard-working people who pay their taxes, sort of- sales taxes on groceries and clothes, 70+% paid for partially or totally with tax payer public assistance simply deserve the vote, dah-link. And more, these folks will overwhelmingly vote the correct and proper way, for the Democrat Party who shall rule supreme as the one and only party in New York.
To gainsay this plan to be a one party universalist cosmopolitan dictatorship of the proletariat is to be racist, xenophobic, divisive and an insufferably partisan boor. And to endure such pointing and shrieking of these epithets would simply be mortifying.
On a more serious note, this does greatly cheapen U.S. citizenship by giving away the franchise of voting to non-citizens who really have no stake or interest in this country and bitch slaps naturalized American citizens who earned their vote by waiting on line and following the laws. I would feel bad for these new Americans but as about 70% of them are reliable Democrat voters they must like the abuse.

The Americans
What makes an American and their culture, the original post-colonial era Americans what they were. Just to spitball some theories, some of which are pure speculation based on certain observations. Thinking out loud, so to speak, to follow the line of reasoning and see where it takes us on this long, somewhat rambling post. It is something of an off-shoot of my previous posts, the peasant mindset and the peasant mindset II (as even a servile subject can have enough), as the concept of what is an American would appear to be intertwined with that as well as blood to some degree and culture.
We could say they were or are fundamentally based on British with its Magna Carta and rights of Englishmen with the white Anglo-Saxon protestant morality and work ethic. But it is more than that. It was a spirit of independence where one could rise as far and as high as one's talent's, energy and ability could lead them, differing from their brethren back in the motherland. And not to be overlooked was their rejection of a hereditary based social caste system. People who could not tolerate a master or betters.
This independent attitude and refusal to acknowledge the innate superiority of their rulers would appear to be a problem for an orderly strong man European monarchy. But what, in seventeenth century Britain, is to be done with these malcontents who may desire liberty, but obviously, simply do not want to grovel to a master and obey all his betters tell him just as the majority of the population willingly do. The solution for this sort of independent, go it alone type of weirdo (as any sensible peasant or nobleman would have viewed them) was to have them shipped off to the colonies in the new world and let them hack out towns and cities from the wilderness. It was a good way for the aristocracy to get rid of these malcontents, caused less anxiety for the good peasantry, and put their restless energies to good colonial and mercantilist use.
It must be noted that the citizens of the 13 colonies and later the new nation, those who lived in the thirteen colonies prior to July 4, 1776 were not of a single nationality. As well, the revolutionary war was not popular with the majority of colonists, estimated at not quite half, about 40% to 45% supporting (which was enough a critical mass to fight for independence) and a vocal Tory remainer contingent estimated at 20% to 25% with the other 30% to 40% not saying much, going along to get along.
When independence from England was formally recognized after their defeat, the new ethnicity called Americans then formed a system of government according to their nature. Or at least to the nature of the New England descendants of the puritans who weren't not the only Christian sect but also not the only European nationality in the newly formed United States.
When the colonies in the new world declared their independence from England in 1776, the population were mostly English, Irish, Scots or Scotch-Irish, along with Germans at about 30% of the population, Dutch, French with a few freed black slaves, a smattering of Poles and Jews among others. It was not a single ethnicity but a mixed bag of different European nationalities which may or may not include Jews depending on one's view of the subject. Aside from the Germans, I could not find any good demographic numbers for any of the other European ethnic minorities in the mid-18th century. Nor could it be found the percentages of Scotch-Irish and English WASPs.
It should be noted that these different European nationalities were in the past, often rivals or at war with each other. So smoothing away old differences and forming a new national identity and unique culture would take time and isolation to develop. A difficult task considering the colonists couldn't even come to a majority agreement on whether or not to declare independence from the British Empire.
In light of this, it may be legitimately asked exactly what is an ethnic or heritage American beyond anyone alive in the 13 colonies prior to the American Revolution and their descendants? If one were to say a white Anglo-Saxon Protestant, or rather an Englishman, New England puritan or descendant thereof, they may or may not have been a majority of the population in the colonies even though their culture predominated. The Scotch-Irish colonists were Celtic people and although closely aligned with the English, still a different people with their own history and culture and were at times even hostile to the English.
But what of the Germans of Pennsylvania of whom Benjamin Franklin expressed doubts as to their assimilation into or compatibility with the dominant WASP culture and even today as the Pennsylvania Dutch maintain a unique culture of their own? They are, as any proponent of the heritage or ethnic American concept, just as much a heritage or ethnic American as anyone of English descent and whose ancestors fought in the American Revolution and every subsequent war the United States has been involved in. Yet they differ in culture both ancestral and present day. Just as much as anyone of Dutch, Belgian or Huguenot descent.
That is unless a purity spiral were to start among those who would discuss the topic which should include true WASP blood, how many verifiable colonial era ancestors the heritage American can lay claim to and what the minimum number should be for real bragging rights.
In any event, a new country needs a new government. First was the Articles of Confederation intended to protect popular liberty with a weak central government but the founders discovered roughneck individualist types quickly set on each other such that there was political and economic chaos between the states which threatened collapse. Our present constitution ratified on June 21, 1787 was a carefully balanced series of compromises, based on a gentlemen's agreement to obey it. This allowed for a stronger federal government but still respected the American citizen's natural individual rights and property rights as well as an unspoken freedom of association. This emphasis on individual and property rights, Protestant work ethic, and a gentlemen's agreement on the citizen's natural rights that the constitutionally limited federal government would respect would be the core of what could have been the culture of the ethnic Americans. That is, had they been able to fully amalgamate the mix of people already there and develop and clarify this culture without letting in waves of new, more servile peasant-minded immigrants comfortable with traditional old-world, strong man monarchies and later socialism to further muddy the waters.
Here it might be tempting to invoke the nation of immigrants as previously noted and ethnic/cultural homogeneity is important to form a cohesive nation. The now former colonists and newly minted Americans were still mostly united in a more what we could describe today as a classical liberal outlook with libertarian overtones. It was this general view of things, in my opinion, that helped paper over cultural differences making part of this nation based on a general agreement on certain principals and which the sub-cultures are close enough alike to make it all work.
Eventually it would have formed the American which over time should have eroded away or absorbed ethnic and religious differences and amalgamated into an authentic, new heritage or ethnic American had they remained isolated from newcomers. But for a new and growing country in the early to mid nineteenth century with dreams of manifest destiny and an industrial revolution needing more workers, waiting for the ethnic American founding stock to raise enough children on their own was not enough. Immigration was necessary even if the founding stock WASPs found it distasteful but for the some who held sway, politically advantageous and for others, profitable in cheap labor.
If it is true that subsequent waves of different European immigrants did gradually alter the political, social and cultural landscape of America, it is equally true that this was with the general agreement of the ruling WASP Americans and thus the heritage American of that era was complicit in these changes. It was a precedent that like a machine once set in motion began to accelerate along the direction it was initially set on coming to its logical endpoint of the Nation of Immigrants rhetoric, the 1965 Hart-Celler Act ending up with now virtually unrestricted immigration both legal and tacitly accepted illegal immigration. If the heritage American WASP is rightfully unhappy with the current state of affairs, most of the blame for starting it lies with his ancestors.
In conclusion, most of what is an American can be seen in the sense of the heritage American with ancestry going back to the founding ignoring whether those ancestors were English and/or Scotch-Irish or Germans, Dutch, etc. more or less united in a set of preferences and attitudes. This is a function of the culture of European non-preasant mindset outliers and should not be confused with the concept of a nation founded on ideals.
So the ethnic American is not really a nationality in the strict definition of the word as the U.S. was not founded by a single tribe or confederation of closely related tribes creating a country and civilization built on the ruins of previous ancestor civilizations.
So heritage American would be a better term describing present Americans with pre-revolutionary ancestry and with traditional WASP culture.
This is a whole new country carved out of a wilderness, displacing the previous immigrants who settled here from Siberia anywhere from 12,000 to 18,000 years ago. This makes the concept of an ethnic American tricky unless painted with a very broad brush. The composition of the former colonists at the founding used as justification for the present nation of immigrants narrative would be a gross oversimplification and wrong. It must be noted it was mostly immigrants from similar European Christian cultures and most importantly, mostly of people with an individualistic, non-preasant mindset.
Given a thousand or so years, a collapsed civilization or two, taking in almost no new immigrants going forward, a true ethnic American will develop. But for now, it's just too new of a country.

Immigration Laws In New York Nullified: Laws Are Only Obeyed if it Suits Our Political Ruling Class' Interests
So here in The People's Banana Empire of New York even illegal immigrants (note here how I did not use the more offensive term "illegal aliens") can get a New York State driver's license. This is of course only for the most loving and benevolent reasons so that illegals who drive anyway will get insurance for their cars and to "bring them out of the shadows".
Indeed, for the groups of men of dubious immigration status waiting for day labor jobs on street corners all along Liberty Avenue, it is somewhat in the shadows of the A train El overhead. As well for the others of similarly dubious immigration status in large groups, carrying certain central American national flags, protesting their right to just walk into the U.S. as they please, those tall buildings in Manhattan cast their shade over the street. Just as gay rights activism is about the love that dares not speak its own name but won't shut the fuck up about it, the illegal immigrants are the people who in the shadows are everywhere you look, make very loud, angry demands in public and won't get the hell out of our sight.

In this article are the usual lies that without a driver's license, police will "rip" the illegal away from his family as by Mayoral Executive Directive to the NYPD forbids the police from asking immigration status and absolutely forbids police from notifying ICE even if an illegal commits a serious felony crime. But why let the facts get in the way of a good heartstring-tugging sob story as a cover for tacit approval of human trafficking, evading minimum wage laws and tax evasion. The elite vassals of the realm pay good money to the political ruling class for the privilege of having these people to exploit, you know. And it would be inexcusably unethical for our elected politicians not to deliver for their donors.

In New York, Reporting a Certain Crime is Against the Law

So when there are mass shootings in Brownsville or East New York, the managerial state whelps whimper whine helplessly but when "White Nationalism" rears it's ugly head in the form of edgy internet posts and memes, no real incidents of white devil violence here in NYC, the gentle lap dog like magic, transforms into the fiercest, snarling cur.

As police officers on the street get more into trouble based on liberal political criteria for the things they do than the things they don't do, it's better career advice to only enforce minor offenses or political crimes. I can't blame the white shield foot soldiers for taking this tact no matter how wrong and disagreeable I find it.
Then there are the howls of outrage from the usual and expected identity/grievance progressives which are joined by the howls of outrage by libertarians, alt and dissident right types. Although nominally race realists, the people on the right, the people the average cop would assume to give him at least the benefit of the doubt, have a built-in dislike for all law enforcement and will happily join the left in calling for a cop's blood in any controversy. When you have no friends to the left or right or behind you, only devils, then there's no other choice than to go with the devil you know. It's the path of least resistance.
But the real culprits are the political establishment who for ideological reasons refuse to deal with real people who cause real problems either out of fear of being called racist or who have really drank deeply of the equalitarian, tabula rasa kool aid. The police department is a creature of the executive political establishment and as designed reflects the agenda of the mayor. Civilian control of law enforcement or the military through elected mayors, governors and presidents is desirable in a constitutionally limited republic or democratic society as in theory, the people have ultimate control over whom they elect and what policies are enacted. However as the size and scope of bureaucratic government grows into the managerial state, the people as constituents become further isolated from having direct power over the direction of official policy.
Further, as the people, seeking security through less personal responsibility by allowing managerial government to become the nanny state not only loses control over public policy but completely and voluntarily abdicates it to their elected leaders and managerial apparatchiks. Then there comes the politically connected grifters with solutions in search of a problem or big ideas to solve public problems payed for by the tax payers. Some of whom get caught only when they go too far in their skimming or fall out of favor with their political and bureaucratic patrons. Many are not well publicized and operate just below the vision of the public at large.
The police uniformed members of the service at the rank of captain whose promotion to higher rank is by appointment of the mayor will echo the mayors policy. The captains and above as well as the ranks lower can rationalize this unconstitutional and un-American criminalizing of free speech as the people of New York City have elected these people as the mayor and city council, these policies must be what the people who pay their salaries want and they as public servants are obligated to follow. Besides, maybe Phaemon's dog was right after all.
One can only hope that the police officers involved in this ridiculous witch hunt will see how wrong this is and do the "civil servant" thing of cheering it on so as to be seen as being "on the C.O.'s team" while only pretending to carry out directives. Otherwise our constitution will be finally and fully overthrown with the arrest of dissidents as purely political prisoners. The Not-American "Americans"
It's an interesting situation when people immigrate to the United States who not only refuse to assimilate to our culture and political system but apparently despise it, and seek to destroy it. One has to ask why such people who hate this country bother to come here in the first place or refuse to return to their homelands after finding us so distasteful. Worse still are the liberals who still insist upon calling people who are obviously our enemies who seek to do us harm, "Americans", make special note that they are "U.S. citizens" and residents of a particular town with equal status of natives. Why is it that the same liberals insist those who want to destroy our culture and nation must not only be granted entry into this country as an unquestionably inalienable right and all must refer to them as Americans?

Two foreigners in this interesting situation who have pled guilty to planning a terrorist attack are pointedly referred to as "Jamaica" women and "U.S. citizens" as if the magic dirt of America conferred these titles upon them that none may gainsay. In fact, I might possibly be guilty of "racism" and "white supremacism" in noting the oxymoronic use of U.S. citizen and Jamaica women to describe two individuals who are obviously enemies of our nation and should be stripped of their citizenship and deported as undesirable aliens. After serving their prison sentences, of course.
Yet we're fighting these interminable wars in Iraq and Afghanistan ostensibly to fight terrorism "over there" so we don't have it happen over here and at the same time, allow a massive influx of people which harbors some terrorists among them to immigrate here.
But our progressive liberal overlords have decreed that anyone from anywhere in the world who wants to come to the U.S. must be granted entry as of right. And further, must be acknowledged as just as much a true American as any native born even if they not only refuse to assimilate but demand we Americans change our culture and language or adopt their non-Christian religions to suit the newcomers who prefer to live in balkanized ethnic enclaves. Is this not the very definition of colonialism and imperialism just as foreigners entering another country with hostile intent towards the native population an invasion?
What is an acceptable amount of casualties with our current immigration policies? How many dead and wounded do liberals feel is acceptable collateral damage in pursuit of cosmopolitan multiculturalism?
Now contrast this with the same liberals who react with holy outrage when India attempts to assimilate the Kashmir, the People's Republic of China suppresses Islam with the Uighurs or allows ethnic Chinese to emigrate into Tibet and alter Tibetan culture. Not to mention the situation in Hong Kong. Nor should we forget the past colonialism of the old European powers was absolutely the most horrific ever perpetrated in human history even if there were not hoards of white Europeans banging down the doors to gain entry to non-white colony countries.
Isn't ethnic diversity and immigration a good thing that must be celebrated? So diversity isn't always our strength? So some forms of imperialism and colonialism are good or bad depending only if Europe and north America are the recipients or perpetrators respectively.
But Americans must accept a massive influx of foreigners and change our culture to adapt to them so American nationalism is apparently forbidden by these hypocritical and supercilious luminaries.

First of all, if someone is here illegally, they have no right to be here let alone take up apartments that should be for citizens, driving up the rents in the process and should return to their own countries. Secondly, a naturalized citizen or permanent resident should be proficient in the national language and fully assimilate to the local culture otherwise they have no place here. They may speak their native language in their own country and there celebrate their culture to their heart's content. Nobody asked these people to come here in the first place. The immigrants chose to come here and therefore it is incumbent upon them to learn our language so translators are an unnecessary waste of time and tax payer money. They deserve no sympathy in this case.
Secondly, never trust or believe a social justice warrior activist as they are invariably liars. All activists care about is eternally promoting their cause which is to them, the goals of which are never achieved, and winning any fight they get into by any means necessary. They are deluded enough with their cult-like fervor to believe lying in the name of their cause is a higher morality. It isn't. This is simply noble cause corruption and nothing corrupt can ever be good or moral. So these people deep down do not care about those whose cause they claim to champion. Here Sateesh once again chimes in on the pay disparity between state court and federal court interpreters and that affects the quality of translation. So the lawyer who complains about non-lawyers who unbidden, tread upon the fields of counsel reserved only for those of the priesthood of attorneys is qualified to comment on the quality of translation skills of interpreters. Cognitive dissonance much, Sateesh? I guess that's why she's only a legal aid lawyer.
Then we come to Florie Ho and her complaints that are essentially a whine fest of "I want more money" to be a translator and "competition sucks for me". Find another job then, lady. Then she attempts to make a case for why an interpreter needs a legal briefing to understand the complex legal situation of somebody didn't pay their rent when all they have to do is translate beggars reason.
The final paragraphs under "A stacked deck" does not in any way, shape or form make a case that the deck is stacked against anyone except the taxpayers of New York City who get stuck for the bill for interpreters, legal aid lawyers and court delay costs. If respondents are late to court whatever excuse they have it's nobody's fault but their own. Get your shit together beforehand. Or next time pay your rent, don't do anything to anybody that'll get you sued or if you're the plaintiff, then it's your case and your responsibility to show up. It's not that hard to do otherwise then just deal with it.
But in conclusion, for those who come to this country and don't bother to learn our language and dealing with civil matters and translation are a hardship for them, then they should go back to their own countries. Nobody asked them to come here in the first place.

Nobody would ever think of asking a couple of questions to figure out what steps to take or line to stand in without the divine Advocate's intervention. Almost anyone standing on a line will at least answer a question of what the line is for and a few more questions which somebody will answer gets one to the right place. Something adults can handle all by themselves.

An interpreter's job is to translate what one person says to a language understood by the other person in a conversation. Not to treat the former or latter like an idiot by making "sure the clients understood her" by perhaps by speaking extra loud, using only very simple words, exaggerated facial expressions and hand gestures. New York State Cares More About Illegal Aliens Than It's Own Citizens.

It seems that there is great concern among our state ruling class that ICE may gain access to New York State driver's license photo for use facial recognition technology against those whom our rulers are pleased to call "undocumented immigrants" and we citizens should horrified and outraged at this Federal deprecation against "immigrant's" rights.
One must note the insipid euphemism "undocumented immigrant" instead of the more accurate illegal alien. Smarmy verbal legerdemain to cover the decadent stench of a pretty lie. One could apply this to criminals as "honesty challenged", drug dealers as being "undocumented pharmacists", murderers as "undocumented euthanasia administrators" or robbers being "unorthodox grant seekers". As with all things of the modern progressive left, there are no limiting mechanisms or principles in the minting of new rights or shifting definitions to benefit their victim/grievance identity group angels so this may not be as far fetched as it would seem.
So why is it that illegal aliens have any rights in this country at all? Why are our masters so desirous of these interlopers and insistent that they be granted the same accommodations and privileges as citizens? By pedestalizing illegal aliens in this way they degrade our citizenship to the point of irrelevancy and cheapen it to where it is of no value whatsoever.
The illegals themselves would not want to be Americans if the title were given away so easily and the resources of the citizenry given to interlopers more generously than would be given the citizens. Anyone who has even the slightest bit of pride in their own nationality would look upon such pandering as demeaning and beneath contempt. They would never dream of such treachery as betraying the best interests of their own people to benefit foreigners. Immigrants do not respect us and foreigners who cross our borders uninvited and illegally respect us less so. And they are all correct in holding Americans in such low regard as we do not earn any respect for our shameless unctuousness.
Governor Cuomo and his Democrats (with the tacit approval of Republicans) have turned New York State into the girl who not only can't say 'no' but who has absolutely no standards at all and will let herself be used by even the most foul and leprous wretch who simply looks at her. Why should any immigrant legal or not want to figuratively marry this sort of girl nor how could he resist the temptation to use and abuse her to his heart's content with her cheering approval.
NYS is now the lowest of all whores who is so stupid that she actually pays the johns to fornicate with her. Not that our rulers care about this as it is we the people who pay the price.
It could be easily seen that our managerial rulers desperately want an average lower IQ population of client voters, almost all of whom originate from third world authoritarian/totalitarian regimes. A population accustomed to a tyrannical one party government which would suit the delusional dreams of unlimited power harbored by our political overlords and managerial apparatchiks to be worshiped as little tin gods. A population mostly dependent on the largess of the public purse to any degree may be a more docile population of serfs and their lower average IQ would flatter the egos of the hopeless mediocrities that currently lord over us that they are the smartest people in the world and deserve to sit upon the throne. Then there are the business interests big and small who desire a never ending supply of cheap labor to do the jobs they refuse to pay Americans a fair wage to do. It's a win-win situation if only to the ruling class and the elite, screw the proles.
That Hispanic immigration activists would enthusiastically support the interests of Hispanic illegal aliens is understandable as they are promoting the interests of their own people as any sensible people would do. I can't blame them for taking advantage of a dysfunctional government that literally begs to be taken advantage of. The blame lies squarely with us, the citizens of the state of New York who re-elect the politicians who advocate for best interests of strangers over their own people. The American people have sadly fallen into foolishness and decadence and replacement will be their reward.
We as a country have every right to decide who we will allow to immigrate here or not, to not allow any further immigration if we want to and do not owe any explanation or apology to anyone for it. This is the right of any people of any nation in the world as it is their right to their country and homeland of their people and to run it as they see fit. So let the globalists be damned.

Civic Nationalism Failure: Nation of Immigrants as a Cover for Plundering Invaders
From the New York Times: Why Should Immigrants 'Respect Our Borders'? The West Never Respected Theirs by Suketu Mehta
This must be one of the most wretched pieces of calumny and tortured logic to be printed by the New York Times and this is a high bar to cross indeed. Well, Suketu is apparently unaware of the old adage that two wrongs do not make a right. Not surprising as Suketu Mehta is not of American or western European descent and therefore does not have any tradition or understanding of western liberal democracy. This opinion piece proves he (or she or it) is as bad as the European colonialists of generations past if not worse despite the scoundrel's sanctimonious drivel.
The most immoral and intellectually bankrupt excuse for invasion and open theft is to redress some alleged past crime by victimizing people in the present, even if the victim only approximately shares the skin tone of the accused past villain. The crimes of the past committed by long dead people against other long dead people belong in the pages of history books not in the most recent pages of the New York Times as a feeble excuse for plunder by third world invaders. It is wrong and inexcusable to punish people who have committed no crime to benefit people who were never the victim. Assuming it is even provable that an actual crime had been committed in the first place instead of the fractured fairy tales spewed by the Cathedral.
So whatever happened to this judged by the content of our character, not by the color of our skin business? Judging people according who they are and their deeds, not who their ancestors were?
And isn't the nation of immigrants through our magic dirt supposed to produce patriotic, liberal democracy loving "new Americans" just like past generations who flowed through Ellis Island?
So whatever happened to our "nation of immigrants", a nation based on high-falutin' ideals, not a people, where the poor, huddled masses simply yearned to be free and would be proud and grateful to be let in and called "Americans" in good standing? No matter our race, creed, culture or ethnicity, we're all "Americans", united in this multicultural nirvana and will all live together happily ever after. We'll make E Pluribus Unum great again!
It appears that flowery, good feels rhetoric was part of a long range strategy to gradually introduce a new caste system where specific identity/grievance groups would be given special protected status. In other words, high caste people with a special set of rights and privileges to make up for past wrongs with no definition of when or under what conditions will the grievance finally be assuaged. When the wrongs will have finally been righted and we can all get on with this judged by the content of our character in the multicultural nirvana business. All part of incrementalism, the classic leftist strategy. But start it slowly, with a reassuring, peaceful face that tells us what we want to hear, simply wants to be treated fairly and remedy a present wrong or problem then gradually step it up to demands, accusations and obligations.
Many Americans were encouraged at first by the friendly, reassuring face of the nation of immigrants thing as they recall their sainted ancestors who passed through Ellis Island as was used to sell the 1965 Hart-Celler Act then. With no limiting principles ever given, the line used has morphed from "we just want to work hard and have a better life" into "we demand you let us in and give us free stuff because you owe us for some transgressions or other committed in antiquity". Suketu Mehta here represents this angry, demanding face of the nation of immigrants and this is the only logical trajectory the civic nationalism /propositional nation dogma could have taken. Suketu and others who follow his line of gibberish are simply cashing in on the immigrant side of the identity victim/grievance politics game.
There is one other thing as an aside:
To make this all multiculturalism work, to unite different identity/grievance groups, including the latest crops of immigrants legal or illegal, of otherwise competing interests and end goals, the white supremacist devil must be created as a unifying object of hate. One cannot avoid the news of the recent congressional hearings about it and veritable deluge of news stories about the rise of daemon white supremacism of which the spectral evidence is overwhelming.
Thus the Identity Marx god has declared blood libel to be righteous and shall be pursued from all time past and forever into the future by the angels of the left. The cargo cultist followers shall answer all objections with heart string tugging sob stories,false comparisons and buhwahddabout deflections when the sob stories are questioned and the false comparison bluffs are called. Failing that, the cultists will berate all unbelievers and heretics as racists and nazis. For the Marxist/Marxian thesis will cease to exist without an antithesis to struggle against and if the antithesis does not already exist, the high priests of Identity Marx will invent one. However, I digress.
This NYT opinion piece should prove civic nationalism, the propositional nation and diversity is our strength were lies all along. The failure of civic nationalism was either a feature of the program, not a bug or it achieved certain goals and the collateral damage is a matter of indifference to our ruling class. A story for another time.
But a few last words regarding opinion piece author, Suketu Mehta: It appears to have escaped this prodigy's notice that he (or she or it, whatever) and other third worlders have benefited from, if indeed profited handsomely from technology which we Americans and Europeans invented, that Suketu and his ilk themselves or their ancestors had no hand in inventing. Roads, hospitals and modern medicine, railroads, schools, etc. that were built for them by their former colonizers have certainly benefited them.
So in light of this, I counter that we Americans owe third worlders who agree with this NYT piece absolutely nothing and that includes entry into our country. As there is no more colonialism to whine about, you should all return to your own home countries and work to improve the conditions there yourselves. Maybe invent your own new technological advances while you're at it.

No matter our race, creed, culture or ethnicity, we're all "Americans", united in this multicultural nirvana and will all live together happily ever after. We'll make E Pluribus Unum great again!
It appears that flowery, good feels rhetoric was part of a long range strategy to gradually introduce a new caste system where specific identity/grievance groups would be given special protected status. In other words, high caste people with a special set of rights and privileges to make up for past wrongs with no definition of when or under what conditions will the grievance finally be assuaged. When the wrongs will have finally been righted and we can all get on with this judged by the content of our character in the multicultural nirvana business. All part of incrementalism, the classic leftist strategy. But start it slowly, with a reassuring, peaceful face that tells us what we want to hear, simply wants to be treated fairly and remedy a present wrong or problem then gradually step it up to demands, accusations and obligations.
Many Americans were encouraged at first by the friendly, reassuring face of the nation of immigrants thing as they recall their sainted ancestors who passed through Ellis Island as was used to sell the 1965 Hart-Celler Act then. With no limiting principles ever given, the line used has morphed from "we just want to work hard and have a better life" into "we demand you let us in and give us free stuff because you owe us for some transgressions or other committed in antiquity". Suketu Mehta here represents this angry, demanding face of the nation of immigrants and this is the only logical trajectory the civic nationalism /propositional nation dogma could have taken. Suketu and others who follow his line of gibberish are simply cashing in on the immigrant side of the identity victim/grievance politics game.
There is one other thing as an aside:
To make this all multiculturalism work, to unite different identity/grievance groups, including the latest crops of immigrants legal or illegal, of otherwise competing interests and end goals, the white supremacist devil must be created as a unifying object of hate. One cannot avoid the news of the recent congressional hearings about it and veritable deluge of news stories about the rise of daemon white supremacism of which the spectral evidence is overwhelming.
Thus the Identity Marx god has declared blood libel to be righteous and shall be pursued from all time past and forever into the future by the angels of the left. The cargo cultist followers shall answer all objections with heart string tugging sob stories,false comparisons and buhwahddabout deflections when the sob stories are questioned and the false comparison bluffs are called. Failing that, the cultists will berate all unbelievers and heretics as racists and nazis. For the Marxist/Marxian thesis will cease to exist without an antithesis to struggle against and if the antithesis does not already exist, the high priests of Identity Marx will invent one. However, I digress.
This NYT opinion piece should prove civic nationalism, the propositional nation and diversity is our strength were lies all along. The failure of civic nationalism was either a feature of the program, not a bug or it achieved certain goals and the collateral damage is a matter of indifference to our ruling class. A story for another time.
But a few last words regarding opinion piece author, Suketu Mehta: It appears to have escaped this prodigy's notice that he (or she or it, whatever) and other third worlders have benefited from, if indeed profited handsomely from technology which we Americans and Europeans invented, that Suketu and his ilk themselves or their ancestors had no hand in inventing. Roads, hospitals and modern medicine, railroads, schools, etc. that were built for them by their former colonizers have certainly benefited them.
So in light of this, I counter that we Americans owe third worlders who agree with this NYT piece absolutely nothing and that includes entry into our country. As there is no more colonialism to whine about, you should all return to your own home countries and work to improve the conditions there yourselves. Maybe invent your own new technological advances while you're at it.

NYC's Managerial Kleptocrats Plan to Game the 2020 Census

Let's cut to the chase: New York State and City's wails to ensure every person is counted on the 2020 Census without mention of citizenship status is a blatant attempt to pad the count. Just as much as Democrat's whines about counting every vote means include the boxes of ballots that mysteriously appear in some party operative's car trunk a week or two after the elections. In the case of the census, padding the count with illegal aliens means new congressional districts created and an increase in New York State's Electoral College votes. Just as the move to give driver's licenses to all, meaning illegal aliens, ensures that illegals may vote in elections. All in all, more stealing, but hey, at least the Democrats will not have to stuff the ballot box as much going forward. In either case, it means that not only is U.S. citizenship rendered meaningless but the vote of American citizens is rendered null and void. Elections will be nothing more than a charade.
If you're wondering where the Republican are on this, if you can find them, they'll make some feeble, lukewarm, noises about sort of not being totally for this. Of course, the Republicans will do as much to oppose this as they do voter fraud. Shocked! Shocked, we are by all this! If only there were something we could do! Fake opposition.
If you think that's funny, wait until the 60's vintage liberals costumed as conservatives over at the NRO start writing pieces about the conservative case for anyone voting in U.S. elections, citizen or not.
This insanity will eventually sweep the country, every last square millimeter of it. Globalism and the manifest destiny of Progressive Leftism, the one true social and political religion, demands it. And the social justice warriors will not rest until their cult reigns supreme and the last unbeliever and heretic is burnt at the stake. So before anyone from the reddest rural and suburban places in the red states sneers at us for this predicament, they'll be coming for you too.
So to my neighbors who chant the mantra "my granfaddah voted Democrat, my faddah voted Democrat and I votes Democrat 'cause dere for da woykin' guy": How do youse guys feel now that "the party of da woykin' guy" more highly values illegal aliens (or any person of color from any third world hellhole, legal or not) and those who live off our tax dollars than the American working and middle class? Best of all, we have the obligation to pay for NYC's and NYS's generosity to their client voters even as they slap us around.
This is what our government establishment's "nation of immigrants" civic nationalism has mutated into: globalism. We as individuals are reduced to interchangeable components in the globalist machine. Moved about like pawns and used to suit the needs of the managerial state and their corporate vassals. Who cares about the fate of components that no longer fit the machine's needs or what becomes of a pawn.
Understand dear little morsels, your "great guy" politician, whom you worship like a little tin god, is stabbing you in the back with a big lie and a smile. He never loved you, you were just useful at least for a time. Oh, and enjoy the new homeless shelter with its drug addict and psychological problem residents around the corner from your house. Your protests and prayers to your great guy godlings went unanswered and we all will pay more to support the ever growing, imported homeless population as even as our cost of living increases.
So what are you going to do about it? Another failure theater protest? Whine about it in the comments section of Queenscrap? The proprietor of that blog, when not posting rant porn, will just prattle on about how great Sandy Ocasio-Cortez is and how she will fix all our problems somehow by, uh...doing things and stuff. Yeah, right, buddy. Just wait until the costs of Sandy's masterpiece of statecraft, the Green New Deal as interpreted and implemented by our Glorious Leader, Mayor De blasio are passed on to you. Buckle up, 'cause some part of your anatomy is gonna be woyked but good.

Another Propositional Nation/Nation of Immigrants Fail

Meng reintroduces Lunar New Year resolution to be recognized in the House, Feb. 10 2019
There are certain common traits and behaviors that people from anywhere on earth will exhibit. Among these are tribalism, a preference to live among others who share a common bond of history and culture and a preference to live in a traditional social and political system like that they have lived in for generations that works best for them.
Man has a transcendent nature of sentience and moral agency but likewise, Man's physical nature shaped through millions of years of natural selection and adaptive evolution must also be acknowledged.
No narrative can alter the hard facts of physical reality nor make them disappear on command as much as we may wish it. Nature does not care what we think, feel or what we want it to be because nature cannot think or feel. Nature is what it is and what we lack the power to alter to our own design, we can only accept as it is.
That being said, I do not blame or even condemn Congresswoman Meng for advancing this Lunar New Year resolution in congress. Even though it is a conscious attempt by a group of unassimilated immigrants, who having reached a large enough population size, will attempt to alter the political and cultural landscape of their new country to better suit themselves as I have pointed out in a previous post. Congresswoman Meng is just doing her job by representing and advancing the interests of her constituents who are largely Asians even if it a display of colonialism and imperialism.
Neither Congresswoman Meng nor the Asian residents of Flushing can be blamed here as this is simply human nature at work. The fault can only be laid at the feet of our ruling class of elected politicians, their advisors and managerial bureaucrats who have embarked on this mad policy of multiculturalism in which American culture abdicates its position of primacy and leaves a cultural vacuum that another culture will inevitably rush in to fill. By extension, the blame must also be placed upon us today and past generations of Americans who have mistakenly bought into the notion that we are a nation of immigrants and the delusion that in a multicultural society, there will be some kind of egalitarian cooperation between the different cultures living within it. Let this Times Ledger article serve as proof of the lies of multiculturalism and civic nationalism. There is no magic dirt here in New York or anywhere else in the United States or the rest of the world for that matter.
We must reconsider our immigration policy and ensure new Americans will assimilate otherwise we no longer have a nation, but an empire. Recall what history teaches us about the fate of empires.
